We all know that breakfast is the most crucial meal of the day, right? So, it is very important that your family and especially your kids start their day with a healthy and wholesome breakfast to keep them energized all day.
However, the school morning schedule is usually busy and hectic; trying to get the kids up and ready for school on time without missing to munch a healthy breakfast. For that reason, you need to arm yourself with healthy and easy breakfast recipes.
So, to ensure you get out of the house on time, I have created a list of 11 easy and healthy breakfasts for busy school mornings that are incredibly wholesome and easy to prepare.
1. Overnight Oats with Blueberry Almond
Overnight oats coupled with blueberry almond offers a quick and wholesome easy to prepare breakfast for those busy school mornings. Combine the rolled oats with almond milk, blueberries, sliced toasted almonds, vanilla extract and 1 Tsp of honey in a jar.
Your breakfast is now ready. Grab a spoon and go, or you can opt to warm it in a microwave.
2.French Toast Bites
When you raid the house that early morning and find some days-old bread, it is time to toast some French toast bites for your breakfast. Whisk an egg or two together with a little milk then dice a slice of bread, bun or baguette into chunks and toss in the egg to coat.
Add some butter and oil into your pan and set it over the stove. Saute the bites carefully until they are well cooked. Don’t wait for too long before tossing them in a mixture of sugar and cinnamon.
3. Peanut Butter and banana smoothie
The peanut butter and banana smoothie contains almost every nutrient that you and your kids need to stay healthy and energized all day.
Mix one cup of milk with a quarter cup of peanut butter; add one table spoonful of carob or cocoa powder and throw in 2 chopped bananas. Now add one to two tablespoons of honey and begin to blend.
4. Delicious Berry Smoothie
When you wake up in the morning and realize that time is not on your side, it is the perfect time to surprise your stomach with a delicious berry smoothie.
Blend some frozen berries and bananas with Greek yogurt and some milk, juice, or coconut water (whatever liquid works best for you). And that’s it; you are good to go.
5. On-the-Go Yogurt
This recipe has introduced remarkable sweetness and crunchiness to the plain yogurt that we know. With almonds and yogurt, this meal will not only keep you feeling healthy but will also keep your blood sugar level steady all day long.
Pour some yogurt (preferably Greek) in a container of about 7oz and add one tablespoonful of raspberry jam and 2 table spoonful of toasted almonds which are thoroughly chopped. Finally, add one table spoonful of honey and mix.
6. Breakfast Sandwich
Start your day with this healthy and easy to prepare breakfast sandwich that will keep your tummy full for the next couple of hours. Toss some arugula with lemon juice and olive oil before frying your over easy egg with some salt and pepper.
Now layer a toasted whole-wheat bread with ricotta and place the over easy egg.
7. Scrambled Eggs with Cheese
Scrambled eggs are incredibly healthy and easy to prepare, that is why they will never escape constituting breakfast for the hectic school mornings. The recipe that I am about to show you is an upgrade of scrambled eggs.
Beat some eggs together with a little milk in a small bowl and don’t forget to add salt and pepper. Now fry the eggs using butter, coconut oil or bacon and wait until they are almost cooked before adding a cup of cheddar cheese and some chopped harm.
8. Cheese Toast
If you are looking for a perfect breakfast meal to munch as you head out of the house, the cheese toast will make a perfect match.
Toast a slice of bread and butter it lightly. If you can reach some left-over veggies or ham, add them on the bread. Now grate over some cheese before melting in the microwave.

For an insane amount of protein, place a sunny-side up egg on each toast. If time does not allow you to sit and enjoy, make the whole thing to be a toast.
11. Egg Muffins
Preparing egg muffins is a piece of cake, whisk or blend eggs with spinach, cheese, and bacon. Pour the blend into muffin tins and bake for 15-20 minutes. That was really easy and fast, right?
What I like most about these sugar-free muffins is that they can last up to a week when refrigerated. Also, they give you humble time to prepare on that terrifying school morning.
Feeding your kids or yourself healthy and getting out of the door on time can be a challenge, especially if you did not manage to prepare some ingredients the night before. But with these easy and healthy breakfasts for busy school mornings, all your worries are doomed!
