Aside from monthly pedicures and the occasional heal scrub, I didn’t think about my feet too often. As a mother of two kids I’m accustomed to the occasional cramp from spending too much time on my feet.
It sounds cliché, but one morning I got out of bed like I always did, and I tried to walk to the bathroom. The moment my feet hit the ground I was in agony. The pain was excruciating.
I tried wearing comfortable shoes, resting my feet, and regular massages, but eventually I went to my doctor who diagnosed Plantar Fasciitis. I trawled Amazon looking for compression socks and found Bitly Plantar Fasciitis socks reviews.
The premium support, ankle sleeve product had many positive reviews. Customers were happy that they could get the socks in a variety of sizes and colors, but most of all, they were happy because it helped. I clicked “buy”.

Different sizes and colors
I looked at some other compression socks and a few of them had a one size fits all approach, which I wasn’t too sure about as I have quite small feet. I bought the small size in black and pink. I’m a barefoot kinda person, so I was happy that my Bitly socks have an ankle sleeve design, which give my toes some room to breathe.
The tight, supportive feeling
It’s thin enough to wear under your normal socks without puffing up your feet to the point where it can’t fit under your shoes. I wore it this way for the first few hours, but then decided to wear it on top of my normal socks as it’s a little tighter and it feels like my foot is getting more support.
The socks are quite tight and you might struggle to get it on at first. Some people might not like this tight, constricting feeling, but I felt like the tighter the socks were, the less pain I was in. It wasn’t uncomfortable to wear and it doesn’t get too hot, so I can keep it on during the day even in warm weather. I must admit, it is a relief to take the socks off at the end of the day and stretch your foot out.
The Bitly Plantar Fasciitis socks are well fabricated and designed in a way that allows the heel depression to slot comfortably into place. According to their website, they have a team of more than 40 designers and quality control specialists who ensure that the product is top quality. The production process uses the finest fabrics and materials to provide the best performance.
When to wear it
I wore it for a few hours during the day at first, but after reading more Bitly Plantar Fasciitis socks reviews, I discovered that people found it effective at night as the pain was especially bad in the morning when they woke up. I wore it to bed for a few nights and noticed a huge difference in the morning. I could take my first steps without cringing.
The Customer Service
About a week after wearing my black socks almost every night I noticed a small hole in the heel, which was slightly upsetting. I remember reading that a few Bitly Plantar Fasciitis socks reviews mentioned contacting their customer service department after damage to their socks and they were very helpful with replacing it.
I emailed their support team and received a reply within a few hours. They apologized and asked questions about how often I was wearing the socks, what I was doing when I was wearing it, and after determining that it wasn’t my fault, they arranged to have another pair delivered within a few days.
Relief from the Pain
I wore my socks every day and even though I had two pairs, I washed them quite often. A little warm soap water does the trick. Hang on a drying rack and in two or three hours the socks were dry and ready to wear again. After a few days of wearing the my Bitly socks, the pain was completely gone. I continued to wear them as I knew the pain could return at any point. It was a relief to be able to run around with my kids again and do daily tasks like hanging up washing and cooking dinner without needing to sit down to get rid of the pain. For all these gorgeous features, I would give the Bitly socks a solid 4-star review.
- The snug fit and well fabricated design provides relief from pain.
- Comes in various sizes and colors.
- The price is reasonable.
- Great customer service.
- Washing and wearing too often stretches socks out.
- Not as durable as it could be, so there’s a good chance of a hole or tear.
I don’t often give 4 stars, so it’s especially high for me. However, if you look online, you’ll see most of the Bitly Plantar Fasciitis socks reviews give a 5-star rating, so I’m a tough customer. The bottom line is that the Bitly socks worked for me.
It relieved my pain and I’m able to do normal day-to-day activities without popping painkillers every few hours. I also think it deserves the 4 stars because of their customer service. They have a great product, but they don’t rest on their laurels. They’ve invested in a good company and consumer relationship. The choice to pick colors is superficial, but it’s a fun plus. The biggest drawback, and the reason I haven’t given 5 stars is because of the breakage. Durability is important and although it hasn’t broken since, I’m more careful with how often I wash and wear my socks.
I’ve already recommend the Bitly socks to a friend and I’ve directed to her various Bitly Plantar Fasciitis socks reviews so she could read about other perspectives too. I’ve also included regular, non-strenuous foot exercises to my routine, bought a pair of comfortable shoes, limited the amount of time I spend on my feet, and booked more massages (with my kids and husband, of course).
In conjunction with my Bitly socks, it’s helped me tremendously and I haven’t had a pain episode in more than two months. If I’ve spent a lot of time on my feet during the day then I’ll wear my socks to bed at night. I’ve realized that it’s about being proactive and aware of the strain I’m putting on my feet. It holds my entire body weight, so it deserves just as much care as the rest of my body.
