The Electric Callus remover by Pedisoft is a Callus remover driven by rechargeable batteries. The device is moved across the hard surface with the electric rollers spinning around to remove the callus.
I was searching for the perfect gift for my mother online when I remembered her complaints about callus under her left foot. That’s how I found the device on Amazon and so that we get right down to it, here is my Callus Remover Electric by PediSoft review.
The Callus Remover by Pedisoft is equipped with a powerful motor because of the Nickel-Cadmium rechargeable batteries. My mother had already bought herself a callus remover, so I took this one with me home. I had callus on both feet but never really thought about it.
I had tried using a callus remover before, but it hadn’t helped much. My skin was too thick for one of these devices, or so I thought. Because of the powerful motors, the Callus Remover by Pedisoft had no problem removing the callus under my feet. Within a week I was callus-free.
I don’t have a high-paying job, so if I am to survive, I need things to be economical and especially if these things touch on my health or that of people I love. Because this device doesn’t use AA batteries, it’s much cheaper to keep it going. The Lithium batteries are about $2 a piece, so in the long run I’ve saved a lot of money.
The rollers arriving with the device are of great quality. This is another factor that saves me money in the long run. Not having to spend money on rollers every other month is fantastic. They’re also very easy to remove from the device for cleaning, which is a huge plus.
I haven’t had the need to use this guarantee yet, but it’s great to know that it’s there. If the Callus Remover stops working without any specific reason, I know I have claim on a new one. Since saving money Is important for me, this is yet another helpful factor.
As a matter of fact, it was the Lifetime Guarantee that first made me want to write a Callus Remover Electric by PediSoft review. Only a few of the companies producing Callus Removers have these guarantees.
Lost Power over time
Most of the things I’ve covered have been positive, and that’s because it works great. There is however one problem; the device has lost power over time. It seems to be a problem that the motors slow down over time, which is a rather big minus.
It also seems as if the battery life has become worse since I started using the product. In the beginning, fully charged, I could finish a whole session before the battery ran out. Now it only works for a few minutes before I have to plug it back in.
These two problems arrived after I had used the device for a couple of months. I became worried, but believed it wasn’t a consistent thing amongst users. Well, aside from the fact that these things come with long use, the device has too many redeeming features that I personally feel these two drawback should not get in the way of your decision to have one.
Overall I’m rating the product a 4 out of 5 stars because it comes with nearly everything you could ever want on a device of its nature.
- Powerful Motor
- Rechargeable Device
- Cheap (~$20 online)
- Top Quality Rollers
- Loses Power over time for some
- Battery runs out quickly
Most of the features I discussed came out positively, excepting the last two. Usually two problems don’t ruin a five-star review, but these two did. 4 out of 5 stars is the most I could give to a product that runs into battery issues. After all, it won’t work without them.
The motors worked perfectly the first couple of months, but then I began noticing that it moved slower and slower for each time I used it. The same happened with the battery. It’s two huge minuses that might have turned me off buying it had I realized it was a problem.
Is it worth it?
You’ve now read through my Callus Remover Electric by PediSoft review and you might have already decided whether or not the product is worth your money. For me it was worth what I had paid the first couple of months, but not anymore.
There is as mentioned a lifetime guarantee, which means that if I want too, I can get a new one. That’s why I’d still consider buying the product after hearing about its motor and battery issues.
Naturalico has its own Electric Callus Remover, which is the one my mother uses. She has had no problems with it, so it’s a great alternative. The only problem people seem to have with it, is that the rotation slows down when pressured.
The Callus Remover from Care Me, although I’ve never tried it myself, has been suggested to me by some friends. It also works pretty well, but it seems that all these Callus removers have some type of problem arriving after a few months of usage.
I hope my Callus Remover Electric by PediSoft review will put you in a position of information next time you need to make a buying decision.
